Nautical Living Room - MyHomeIdeas.com

I love this living Room.

This living room combines traditional coastal style with modern building sensibilities: glass panels at the base of the windows open like trapdoors to admit a breeze. Two built-in sofas were reupholstered in blue and accented with striped pillows. (Photo: Tria Giovan)

I Love Scentsy

If you love Scentsy, you are going to love my friend Rhonda Lyles ' new website .

Scentsy is a great way to get the benefit of scented candles without the danger of an open flame. These are scented wax cubes that are melted in beautiful holders that use the heat of a light bulb to melt the wax and release the scent.

They have so many scents to choose from it may be difficult to make up your mind which one you want, so get them all. They also have a wonderful line of shower gels so you can "wear" your favorite Scentsy scent.

You can also host a Scentsy party in your home or business through my good friend Rhonda Lyles and get tons of free products and prizes. Rhonda's contact information is on her website

I hope you will visit her site and see if Scentsy is for you. Have fun shopping, that's what I'll be doing

Easter is Here, OH NO!

Oh my goodness but it's almost Easter. Where did the time go. I have not done any easter shopping. This was me a few days ago. I was in a tizzy because I let yet another Holiday slip upon me with out any planning. I was in panic mode. I knew most of the department stores would be "shopped over" leaving little in the way of nice gifts for family and friends. I had to do something now.

So I turned to the internet. I was looking for gift websites that specilized in Gift baskets but I couldn't find any that promised rush orders since I had waited so long until I found Gourmet Gift Baskets.Com Only the best Gourmet Gifts. They promise your order will be delivered on time every time. They have an easy to navigate website that provides many options at different price levels.

If you are like me and wait till the last minute this kind of service comes in handy when you need to save the day. I need Easter Gifts pronto so I think I will give them a try. I always swear, never again, but I always find myself in the same boat of procrastination. Thanks goodness there are websites like Gourmet Gift Baskets.com to throw me a life preserver.

Helping my daughter pick out her first prom dress

Guest post written by Sue Ray
I've always kind of thought that helping my daughter pick out a prom dress might be a little bit like what I would imagine helping her pick out a prom dress would be like. Except, I guess with a prom dress you're more worried about it being too revealing for her age than a wedding dress. Or at least I imagine.
I've been a little worried about battling my daughter over the revealing nature of some dresses. So I thought that it might help to look at some online with her before we actually go shopping and that's what we were doing when I saw the site Debt Settlement Family. Now, my husband and I have been in debt for some while and it's been a real hassle to worry about. So we're going to look through that site and see if it can help out our financial situation any.
I've set some clear boundaries for what I think is too revealing and what I think is okay for my daughter. Like strapless is okay and so are some cutouts on the back. Something that looks like a bikini top attached to a skirt with a few strings is not okay. Hopefully that will make actually dress shopping go a lot smoother.

Double Glazing Windows

Double Glazing, also know as Insulated Glazing is when double or triple glass window panes separated by an air or other gas filled space to reduce heat transfer through the glass. It is a great way to save on your heating and cooling costs by regulating temperature in your rooms by preventing heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.

While researching this topic I came across a great resource website for information on double glazing.
All Double Glazing is a UK based website providing up to 4 quotes to people who are looking to get double glazing installed. You can check double glazing prices, compare costs, get quotes, and compare installers.

It is a great resource for all kinds of information. It even has articles about double and triple glazing and different methods of double glazing. It only takes a minute or two to fill out the online, no obligation form to get up to 4 free quotes from 4 installers in your area.

So if you are in the market to have double glazing installed or want to save heating and cooling costs then All Double Glazing is the resource website for you. You can find out everything you need to know about double glazing, triple glazing and even replacing doors by going to this website. It's a winner.

Safety When Decorating with Candles.

I love to use scented candles in my decorating. They can be an inexpensive way to add warmth and beauty tp any decor. But they can also be dangerous because of the open flame and messy because of the dripping wax. Here are some safety rules for using candles that will make your candle experience a relaxing and safe one.

1. Read and follow saftey instructions! ... Read the label-- Every candle label contains important information about how to and how long to safely burn your candle.

2. Keep an eye on your candles! ... Always burn candles where you can see them and never near anything that can catch fire. Plus, by always burning candles in draft-free areas, they will burn slower and more evenly. Don't forget to blow them out when you leave a room.

3. Keep your candles clean! ...Trim wicks to 1/4 inch before you light them-- every time. Straight, short wicks make your candles melt evenly. Properly dispose of used matches and wick trimmings instead of leaving them in the candle. This can cause flare ups and cinders to fly out of the candles. If your candles get a little dusty between burnings they clean up gtreat with nylon. An old stocking is great.

4. Keep camdles out of reach! ... Watch pets and children to avoid candles accidentally being knocked over.

5 Decorate for safety! ... Candle holders don't just dress up your candles -- using heat resistant holders specifically designed for use with candles contains drips and melted wax and protects underlying surfaces.

I hope these safety instructions help you to enjoy using candles in your decorating.

travelocity.com

The article written by Alonso Kramer

Recently my friend and I graduated from college together with our masters in business. We are of course very excited to get started working in the “real world” but first we are wanting to take a get away trip to really make a great memory before we have to start our real lives working full time. We decided that we want to travel around Europe for about two weeks. The first thing I did when we started talking about putting a travel plan together is to go to www.satellitestarinternet.com/ to get connected to the internet so that I could check out my favorite travel site Travelocity.com. If you have ever planned a trip to Europe having never been there you know how hard it can be to narrow down which cities you want to visit and even harder still is deciding what hotels you would like to stay in and for how long. Travelocity.com is great for comparing hotels and prices and also great for reading reviews about those hotels and locations. I always use this as my go to site when it comes to planning a trip.
